FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On November 6th, voters can both vote and vaccinate at three locations for free!

Sacramento County Departments of Health and Human Services and Voter Registration and Elections, CA North State College of Pharmacy, and volunteers from the Red Cross, Medical Reserve Corps, and the CSUS School of Nursing are partnering to offer this great service to the public.

“To make it as convenient as possible for residents to receive flu vaccinations and to protect our community from this potentially devastating virus, we are bringing flu shots to where folks will be that day,” said Phil Serna, Sacramento County Supervisor for District 1.  “We think this is the perfect time to get a flu shot, especially for susceptible populations like the elderly who just happen to be one of the highest propensity voting groups.”
