FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento County's Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) Program will hold a graduation and mother's event at Clunie Community Center in McKinley Park on November 6, 2015. Nurse-Family Partnership is an evidence-based, community health program that helps vulnerable mothers pregnant with their first child.  Mothers served by NFP are partnered with a registered nurse early in their pregnancy and continue to receive nurse home visits through the child's second birthday. Strong evidence indicates that NFP prevents child abuse and neglect and produces significant economic return on investment.
